As the festive season draws near, there’s nothing like the magic of twinkling lights, the sound of carols, and the scent of mulled wine in the air. This year, West Kirby’s annual Christmas Light Switch-On is set to dazzle on Saturday, 23rd November, from 4-6pm, and it’s the perfect event to kick off the Christmas season with friends, family, and the local community.
A Festive Evening for All
Starting at 4pm, West Kirby will come alive with Christmas spirit! The event will feature a variety of festive stalls offering unique gifts, seasonal treats, and decorations to get you in the Christmas spirit. Enjoy live music from local artists filling the evening with festive tunes and join in the community cheer. Delicious hot food will be on offer to warm you up, along with mulled wine and other holiday drinks—perfect to enjoy while you browse and soak up the atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening will be at 6pm, when the Christmas lights are officially switched on, illuminating the town with Christmas magic. The switch-on is a free, family-friendly event, and it’s a wonderful way to support our local community by coming together to celebrate.
